Terms of Service

1. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges the following contractual and payment terms of LukaS Limo Swiss as legally binding.

2. If no other price unit is specified, all prices are in Swiss francs/CHF.

3. All prices and times are calculated from and to the vehicle location of the respective vehicle. If the distance (route) of the journey offered changes, the price may vary. All previous catalogues, prices and offers lose their validity with the appearance of the latest editions of price lists and general contract conditions.

4. The order invoice must be paid before the order is placed. With exceptions decided by the management, the bill can also be paid after the trip. In the case of orders accepted at short notice, the invoice amount must be paid to the driver in cash before the journey, credit cards are also possible, but only on request by the customer. If the amount is paid in cash, it must correspond exactly to the total order value. For security reasons, the driver only has a small amount of cash with him and cannot give it back. Any additional costs incurred during the journey must be paid directly to the driver after the journey.

5. With the receipt of the written order confirmation via e-mail, as well as the confirmation from the customer, the order is considered definitively booked. If payment is not received within the specified period (24 hours after receipt of the confirmation/invoice), the vehicle will be released again. Upon receipt of the written confirmation and receipt of payment, the vehicle is definitely reserved for the customer. Offers can be withdrawn at any time. The prices given in the calculator are purely informational prices and may differ from the final price in the offer/order confirmation. Bookings/reservations must be made at least 8 hours before the start of the journey, otherwise we cannot guarantee a positive transaction. In the case of short-term orders (less than 8 hours before the start of the journey), the customer must contact us by telephone. If any changes are not reported within 24 hours after receipt of payment, the contract is considered legally binding.

6. Definitive reservations are only made against advance payment via PayPal or direct transfer to the account. All prices and times are from/to pick-up/destination. Orders/journeys with payment on account are only possible for persons and companies resident in Switzerland and only if a contract has been signed before the order. The invoice must be paid no later than 10 days after the invoice date.

7. The discount on voucher cards cannot be transferred to other services/vehicles and only applies to trips with Mercedes S Class. Also excluded from the discount are transfer journeys from/to Zurich City/Airport. The discount is from the regular price, if a discount is already given, the discount from the voucher card cannot be added to it. In any case, the 20% discount from the regular price is the maximum.

8. In the event of cancellation by the client up to 24 hours before the start of the journey, an amount of 20% of the total cost will be charged. Last minute cancellations less than 24 hours before the trip will be charged 50% and less than 4 hours will be charged 100%. (order compensation and expenses). If the customer does not appear on the agreed date, 100% of the order costs will be charged to him. It is up to the customer to arrange for cancellation insurance. In exceptional cases, this is waived if the order can be replaced by another. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis by management. In any case, 20% of the total costs (offer) will be charged in the event of cancellation after a definitive confirmation.

9. If the customer is more than 15 minutes late at the start of his journey, the waiting time will be charged at CHF 20 for every 15 minutes started. The first 15 minutes are free. For airport transfers, the free waiting time from the airport is a maximum of 1 hour from the planned landing. If the flight is delayed, the time of the delay is already included in the free waiting time. After the free waiting time has expired, the rate of CHF 20.00 per started 15 minutes of delay applies (1 hour extended waiting time = CHF 80.00). Any costs incurred in the event of delays must be paid to the driver in cash before the start of the journey.

10. Other costs such as foreign motorway tolls, travel tickets, train loading costs, additional drinks and any food & Lodging (accommodation and meals, total costs) of the driver at home/abroad are at the expense of the client and are paid in advance when making the reservation or in cash directly to the driver at the end of the journey. For a rental period of more than 8 hours, the driver receives a flat-rate meal allowance of CHF 50. This is passed on to the customer.

11. After the order has been placed, LukaS Limo Swiss has the right to withdraw from the order entirely if, based on the information collected, our claims appear at risk. In this case, there is no obligation for the customer to carry out the journey. In this case, trips that have already been paid for will be reimbursed in full.

12. The order will be fulfilled as far as possible. Complaints must be made in writing within 48 hours of completing the order.

13. Damage to the vehicles and their interior fittings as well as missing inventory are fully at the expense of the customer. This includes, among other things, any soiling of the seats, carpets, side and roof panels, as well as improper operation of the facilities. For any damage caused by the guests, the invoice amount (depending on the severity of the damage) will be charged after the ride and must be paid in cash to the driver.

14. LukaS Limo Swiss is not liable for items left in the vehicle.

15. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles. In the event of non-compliance, the interior of the vehicle will be cleaned. The invoice amount will be charged after the ride (depending on the severity of the damage).

16. A maximum of 8 people (incl. driver) are allowed for Mercedes V Class/ Viano and Mercedes E & S Class 4 people (incl. driver) ride along. The number of people in the Mercedes Sprinter can vary and must be clarified by the customer in advance.

17. In winter, especially when there is ice, cold and snow-covered roads, booked trips can be canceled by LukaS Limo Swiss at short notice for safety reasons. If one of the points listed above occurs or occurs during the execution of an order, the driver's assessment is decisive. For security reasons, this decision is automatically accepted by the customer. Only the cost of safely transporting customers home will be covered. The type of customer transport home is determined by LukaS Limo Swiss.

18. Technical defect in the vehicle before the journey: If the vehicle that the customer has booked develops a defect before the journey, the customer will receive another vehicle as a replacement. If the price is lower, the customer will be reimbursed the corresponding amount. No money will be refunded if the journey can be carried out with another vehicle of equal value.

19. Technical defect on the way: If a technical problem occurs on the vehicle during the journey, which cannot be remedied and the journey has to be stopped, the following applies: LukaS Limo Swiss will organize another vehicle on request. This can take some time depending on availability, the customer takes note of this. No money will be refunded if the route can be completed with another vehicle (even a lower class). If this occurs, the customer will receive a voucher for a trip at a different time as compensation. The amount of the voucher is decided by the management on a case-by-case basis.

20. LukaS Limo Swiss accepts no liability for delays caused by a force of nature, traffic jams, breakdowns, incorrect pickup or destination information, or any situation beyond our control. In the event of any weather conditions, traffic jams, traffic accidents or demonstrations and general third-party influences, the customer must expect a delay. If one of these cases occurs, no money will be refunded. Depending on the situation, management decides to what extent the order will be charged and whether the customer is entitled to a refund. The customer automatically agrees without being able to assert any further claims.

21. Business disruptions, official measures, shortage of workers or raw materials, energy crises, force majeure or other unforeseeable events, such as strikes or lockouts, release us completely from the fulfillment of the contract without the customer having any right to compensation. Depending on the situation, management decides to what extent the order will be charged and whether the customer is entitled to a refund. The customer automatically agrees without being able to assert any further claims.

22. The fare includes the following: driver, petrol, VAT, 1-2 bottles of mineral water (min. 0.25L), tunnel and motorway tolls in Switzerland.

23. Overtime incurred during the trip beyond the normal booking time must be paid in cash after the trip. Each additional hour is charged at CHF 100 per hour. It can only be extended spontaneously/on site if the driver agrees. If this is not the case and there are connecting journeys, the customer automatically accepts that the vehicle & Driver is only available at the time pre-booked in the confirmation. The extra hours worked are to be paid in cash to the driver on site.

24. In the case of cross-border journeys, which lead from Switzerland across a border abroad, the customer must report any items that are to be declared to the driver. If the customer does not mention anything, it is clear to the driver that the guest does not have any goods to declare. LukaS Limo Swiss rejects any liability in the event of any inspections with items subject to duty being found!

25. LukaS Limo Swiss reserves the right to use photo and video recordings and customer feedback for public purposes, such as advertising or on the website www.lukaslimoswiss.ch. This is only waived at the written request of the customer. No data will be passed on to third parties.

26. The contractual provisions listed above only apply to LukaS Limo Swiss!

27. With the booking and the payment of the agreed sum according to the offer, the customer agrees to all points of the General Terms and Conditions.

28. For terms and conditions that are not addressed, the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) apply. Both parties recognize the city of Zurich as the place of jurisdiction. Swiss law is applicable.

29. Satisfied guests are the most important thing for us! For this reason, the following terms and conditions are only applied in exceptional cases. In most cases, we are very accommodating and only apply the terms and conditions if the guest intentionally harms our company.
